â–º Why buying drugs from strangers is a TERRIBLE idea. (Chapter 7, pages 4-6)

What Happened:

Dealer: "So... Just when I thought I haven't seen you guys lately. Your friend Youji has disappeared?"

Katou: "Exactly! It pisses me off. He took off with the 5,000 yen he borrowed off of me. Since then, everyone's been kind of screwed up... I figured I needed some drugs to pull me through."

Dealer: "Okay. 'Ecstasy' or do you want 'acid'?"

Katou: "Nah, I'm short on money, so I'll take a tranquil."

Dealer: "If that's the case, I'll give you a bonus. Try this new type."

Katou: "How uncommon, a capsule. This better not go 'bad'."

Dealer: "Fu fu... no problem..."

• Pops the new capsule right away, without even really thinking about it. Then something about the dealer catches his eye.

Katou: "You... You're not the usual bobby?! Who are you?! Who... are... Geez... What an unbelievably beautiful foreigner. Wow... Each strand of hair shines like glass... It's almost scary... Almost as if you're not from... this... world. ...H... Huh? That face... I've seen... somewhere... somewhere..."

Rociel: "Good night. I'll promise you the most wonderful trip... The same one as your friend, Youji...!"

• Fade to black as Katou passes out.
