â–º Getting Jesus'd by Setsuna and deciding to use his life to help him. (Chapter 29, pages 22-29, Chapter 30, pages 7-9, Chapter 36, pages 8-9)

What Happened:

Katou: "And... That's why I'm here, like a lost dog... Can't ever get out. Forever. . ."

Setsuna: "You're very strong. Although you had such a past, you've still found your own way of living. You're not weak. Do you remember? When you died, didn't you use your own strength to enter the Underworld? I've only lit the way. Someone truly weak couldn't have done that. You can break these bonds you made yourself. You're not weak. You've always been fighting."

• Katou breaks the (literal) bonds of self-despair, Setsuna hugs him.

Setsuna: "See... You can do it. Let's go... Time has stopped on Earth... Someone's waiting for you now..."

Katou: *thinking* "Earth...? Now..."

Katou: "This is...?

Katou: "Sis?! Then... This is really Earth... Sister's new house?! Time has stopped... She can't see me. She's become pretty... Her life must be good with her husband. Even if she sees me, the things I did..."

• Katou spies a cracked box with a some jewelry inside, a taped-up picture of his parents, a young Sae, and himself as a baby, and another picture of himself and Sae as children, smiling.

Katou: "The box from that time!! Ah... Even knowing everything is only a sand castle... Even so, she still wished they would hold together...What made me alone... Is that self pity that has blinded me from the truth..."

Katou: "Sis... Even if everyone in the world has forgotten me... As long as you remember. When you're living your happy life... Only if you would remember from time to time your stupid brother who died when he was 17. Just feel a little sadness... That is all I want. I truly wish you a happy life...! That is all... I can die peacefully...!!"

• Setsuna touches Katou's shoulder.

Setsuna/Alexiel: "Well... Let's go... to the outside world. I'm here to guide you..."

Katou: *thinking* "Angel...!! Oh yes, you are... the angel who guided me gently the time I died..."

Setsuna/Alexiel: Here... Take this. Now you can continue to fight without remorse...!"

• Katou eats one of Alexiel's feathers.

Katou: *thinking* "It's like the baptism of a newborn. Oh yes. I've never seen such a beautiful woman. She's a goddess."

• Katou wakes up in Uriel's place. Uriel speaks telepathically.

Uriel: "Looks like he succeeded. How do you feel? I am the Angel of Earth, Uriel. Hellgate's guardian. He... seemed to really want to save you... Setsuna has spent too much power entering someone else's spiritual world. It's fine, he's a strong guy. He'll wake up soon.

Katou reaches under his shirt and feels his chest.

Katou: *thinking* "The wound when I was killed...! It's gone..."

Katou: "This guy's an idiot, he'll always be the same until he dies... Moron...!! You nosy kid...! You won't live long like this..."

• Katou covers his face with his hands and takes a moment to cry.

Uriel: "Before Setsuna's here... I definitely have to tell you one thing.

After eating Alex's feather, you're not a normal human anymore. If you would try, you might possibly have astral powers. And your life belongs to him. However, you have the right to choose your fate. Whether you want to become Setsuna's guardian spirit and enter the endless war between Heaven and Earth, or become a normal human again, to be reborn by going to Heaven, I can make Enra-ou do this either way."

Katou: "...Sounds good, thanks! Rather than die in a war that has nothing to do with me, Heaven sounds much better. Just as you said, I'd make the choice.

You in the black, listen closely. I don't want to go to Eden while running away from the old man!! I would rather die for one who needs me!"

Uriel: "...Unlike Rociel's power, Alex's power doesn't warp the laws of nature and give you eternal life. When that time comes, you will finish your duties and return to the wheel of reincarnation for humans. No one knows when that is.

...But do you still say that you will fight for Alex?"

Katou: "...Even if it is that ...must be fools, both he and I..."

â–º Flying up to heaven on a dragon and crashing. Who taught Setchan how to drive this thing? (Chapter 75, pages 7-12 and 26-30)

What Happened:

• There is a Very Large Dragon!! Also, everyone's gathering supplies.

Kira: "We can use this. It's got the layouts of all the Heavens on it."

Setsuna: "Good. Bring it. Ah... Yuu-kun, you're late....!"

Katou: "...The fuck's Yuu-kun? Don't point at me."

• Katou and Setsuna play-fight, Setsuna's cheerful and Katou's grumpy. Setsuna and Kurai talk a little bit about Setsuna and Sara, Setsuna tells her not to worry. Kira, Katou, and Setsuna hop on the dragon and take off.

Katou: "Yo, Mudou..."

Setsuna: "Yeah?"

Katou: "Your sister dumped you, didn't she?"

Setsuna: "DAMMIT, IT ISN'T LIKE THAT!!"

Katou: "So why're you getting all worked up, then? You guys must really~ love each other."

• A little later on...

Katou: "Damn, this place is huuuge! So, this is heaven, huh? Feels kinda dead, really."

Setsuna: "This is no good... The magnetic field is all over the place, so I can't get a fix on our position."

Katou: "Hmm? Gimme that, you gotta shout louder to fix it."

Setsuna: "Hey! Stop that! This isn't like your grandma's TV, you can't fix it by hitting it!"

Kira: "! We've been found."

Setsuna: "Wha...?"

"WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON! WE'RE FALLING!!"

• The dragon crashes.

Katou: "Ow...! The fuck...! Uhn... Uhn..."

Kira: "Told you."

Mysterious Voice (Riette): "What's this...? Just a lost dragon...? I've no interest in the living. Go on, shoo...! Shoo...!"

Katou: "'In the living...'? What are you, a necrophiliac or something?"

Kira: "You all okay?"

Katou: "Who is this freak...? OI! YOU! WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA, SHOOTING AT PEOPLE AND MAKING THEM CRASH?! Or what--we die, you pay for our funeral, problem solved?! IS that the fucking idea?!"

Setsuna: "You are dead, you know..."

Kira: "I don't think that's the problem..."

"Don't move!"

Katou: *looks over* "Uh?"

• Explosions right by Katou are happening.

Katou: "Wah!" *dodging*

Anima Mundi: "Why have you returned, Messiah? Do you want to make meaningless Zaphikel-sama's sacrifice... and the loss of so many in our Anima Mundi...? Why... are you here?"

Learned/Effects:
• Getting called Yuu-kun annoys him! Not sure why, though.
• Violence = a possible solution to problems of many kinds.
• Not much else, this isn't a very important memory.
