When you finally land, you’ll find that your footing isn’t quite steady. It’s like the ground is moving around you….

Oh, wait. It is.

Everywhere you look, there are thick cable wires, writhing around restlessly. Draped along the walls, hanging from the ceiling, skimming along the ground (is that one trying to crawl onto your foot?)... There are four doors. One is made of a rough wood and painted turquoise. One has a movie-style marquee above it (but no movie listings), and the doors themselves are a set of glass double doors you can’t see through. Another is a door made of black marble, with a silver knob. The last one is is made of pure gold.

Leaning against one of the writhing walls, seemingly unaffected by the cables, is a figure in a turquoise cloak.

The first move is yours.

There is no clear patch of floor. Wires, wires everywhere. One of them is trying to wind its way around Naoto's foot.

The cloaked figure glances over at him and waves. "Hey! You might not want to stand there."

The wire falls away, but there are more trying to reach out to him. One tendril in particular is straining to reach from the wall, but appears to be just shy of being able to touch him.

Meanwhile, the figure laughs. "Sorry about that. The room's a little grabby around here."

The cloaked figure rubs his neck. "Well, if you're looking in here, you're shit out of luck. One of the other rooms, maybe...?"

The wires keep making grabs for Naoto, but his dancing is effective in keeping them from gaining a good hold.

"Me?" The figure shrugs. "It's not safe, but it's my job. I'm the caretaker of this room."

The cloaked figure tilts his head. "They've always been here." He pauses, considering that. "Well, they weren't always wires."

"It's pretty fucking terrible," the cloaked figure confirms. "It's hard enough dealing with one room with them."

The cloaked figure doubles over laughing. "If that were possible, don't you think he would've done that by now?"

The cloaked figure makes a choking sound. "That's a terrible idea!"
