[ It's probably not visible from his location, but there are several very large trees to climb nearby! When he gets up a decent height up the tree, he'll not only be able to see the path of roots to the tree in the middle of the lake, but he'll also be able to tell that the forest goes on as far as the eyes can see. ]

[ Well. Okay. Give him a few more second to enjoy that view. He keeps quiet despite his outburst from just earlier, and even leans his back against the tree trunk. It's fucking pretty, and peaceful too — he enjoys that sort of stuff.

But he's not here for sight-seeing, and he knows this is a competition and wasting time could potentially be dangerous. So he sighs and climbs down — hopping down when it's safe to do so.

Time to talk a long walk around the lake and get to that path of roots ]

[ It's going to take a while to get there, but when he does, the path of roots is wide and easy to follow... though you should still be careful with your footing, because one wrong step and you'll fall into the lake.

When you get to the tree, you can get more of a proper feel for how absolutely huge it is. This is a tree that could easily dwarf a redwood. There's an opening that leads inside the tree. ]

[ Fine climbing that is out of the question. Time to get inside the tree, then. ]

[ The inside of the tree appears to be a decent, spacious house. There's a table set up with tea on it and enough chairs for four people, though there are only placements set for three. There is a single door, not including the open doorway that you just came from. The room looks empty, but you get the feeling someone will be here soon. ]

[ Wow is he crashing a party. He quirks an eyebrow, looks at that set up, and goes to check out the table. It's not going to hold his attention for long though so he will be checking that door — can he open it? ]

[ The door cannot be opened without a key! Or you could possibly smash it, but who knows what consequences that might have?

In the meantime, there's a sound from the entrance to the tree. ]

[ He was in fact ready to smash it fuck the consequences

But he's distracted from the sound, so he's turning back to check it out. ]

Who the fuck is there?

[ In walks in a tall, relatively attractive teenage boy— maybe seventeen or eighteen years old. And perhaps it's the '90's-era clothing, or perhaps it's the cigarette dangling from his mouth, but he doesn't really look like he belongs here. ] I "the fuck" am here. [ He sounds amused. ]

[ He already hates him just for that attempt to be funny, and because he looks like a smug asshole ]

Fuck off, no one invited you.

[ Well, Bakugou's assessment isn't wrong. ] No, I suppose they didn't. [ He's still amused. ] I invited myself, actually. I got curious. It's not the sort of place I've ever been able to go to, you see.

[ It's his tree now!!! but, fine, since there's this smug asshole around, instead of smashing the door he'll start to look for the key. Just looking around to see if there's anything that catches his attention ]

[ The teen grabs a chair and watches Bakugou search the place. ] I didn't really expect you to. [ There's a hallway a little further on, away from entrance area with the dining room and the door. It quickly wraps into a corner, so you can't see what's there without exploring further down. ]

[ Now he properly told him.

He's gonna go for that hallway, hoping this guy's not actually important because gosh, he doesn't want to deal with him. ]

[ Now why would Kira Sakuya be important in any part of Katou?

The hallway quickly leads to a spiraling staircase that seems to wind up the tree.... and up... and up... and up... ]

[ HE'S TOTALLY UNIMPORTANT TO HIS LIFE, NO INFLUENCE AT ALL

but time to use his Quirk and make explosions to propel himself up and forward, so he won't have to walk that staircase ]

[ When he gets high enough, you'll find... a greenhouse. You remember how ridiculous the plants were outside the tree? It's about like that in here. ]

[ Well first thing he's going to check if he can recognize any poisonous things inside there ]

[ Pretty much everything in here is safe for humans... though if you had a pet dog with you, it'd be best if they didn't eat the hibiscus. ]

Going to look around now, see if he can find something beside plants in here ]

[ There appears to be a door at the far end of the greenhouse. On the way there, it's mostly just... plants. A lot of plants. So many plants. Like, clearly someone just really fucking loves plants.

There's also, in an easy-to-miss spot, what appears to be a naked, sexless person with no face. ]

He's looking around pretty careful, but he does overlook the person at first — the features don't register, so he moves ahead.

It's only a second later that he double-takes, because he realizes something is real fucking wrong. ]

The fuck is that!?

[ It looks exactly like a person! One with literally no defining features except for their entire lack of features. Also, they're not breathing. ]

[ Holy shit talk about creepy. He's going to lightly kick at the thing, waiting to see a reaction. ]
