[ The TV flickers on and it's the news— it seems that a group of delinquents robbed a convenience store recently. Only cigarettes and booze were stolen, but the group is unidentified and still at large. ]

he leaves it playing in the background as he scans the rest of the room, scanning it for Essentially Anything Else Noteworthy before going to pick up the pictureframe ]

As the news anchor drones on in the background, the room seems to be otherwise still. There is nothing especially noteworthy in the room itself— though if you strain to listen, you can hear the faint sounds of a music box playing in the distance.

[ When you get to the top of the stairs, there's a hallway with four doors. One is clearly just a restroom, the door is even slightly open. The other three doors are closed tightly. The music is coming from the furthest door down the hallway. ]

[ goes inside and just looks around, hesitantly but. gotta explore ]

[ The bathroom looks pretty stereotypical of a Japanese suburban bathroom. There is a mirror you can check your reflection in by the sink. ]
